Nonni's, the No. 1 selling biscotti brand in the country, wanted to expand their portfolio with a new product, Cookie Bites (which are delicious, BTW. I ate WAY too many of these in the studio).
I spearheaded the photographer and food stylist search, managed the contract negotiations, and did the pre-pro deck for the 2-day shoot. I also gave the client specific instructions on how to handle the product for photography, and what we would need on hand to make a successful shoot (extra chocolate to temper, extra toppings, bites with no toppings, etc).
I art directed all of the color correction and retouching, as well as made suggestions during the design process to avoid the pitfalls of retro printing. Constant communication with the printer ensured proper color of the product, as well as the transparent color over the metallic resulting in the desired effect.
